NASCAR Busch Series Race 29 of 35 – Dover (Del.) International Speedway

EMERSON RADIO 250 RECAP: Kevin Harvick piloted the No. 33 Kevin Harvick Inc. (KHI) RoadLoans.com Chevrolet Monte Carlo Saturday, September 7, for the Emerson Radio 250 at Richmond (Va.) International Raceway. Harvick started the race eighth, but after an accident on pit road finished the race 24th. The No. 33 KHI Chevrolet remains fifth in NASCAR Busch Series Owner’s Point Standings, as the team heads to Dover (Del.) International Speedway for the RoadLoans.com 200.
BUILDING STATISTICS: Tony Raines will be making his sixth NASCAR Busch Series (NBS) start of the year for Kevin Harvick Inc. (KHI) Saturday when he takes the green flag at Dover (Del.) International Speedway. In five previous starts this year for KHI, Raines’ best finish was eighth at Dover (Del.) International Speedway.

CHASSIS HISTORY: The No. 33 RoadLoans.com team will unload chassis No. 028 this weekend at the Dover (Del.) International Speedway for the RoadLoans.com 200. This will mark the sixth race with chassis No. 028 for the No. 33 team in 2007. Tony Stewart piloted the car to a third-place finish at Las Vegas Motor Speedway and an eighth-place finish at Chicagoland Speedway. Kevin Harvick piloted the car to a sixth-place finish at California Speedway (Feb.), an 11th-place finish at Texas Motor Speedway and most recently to a 16th-place finish at Bristol (Tenn.) Motor Speedway.

DOUBLE DUTY: Raines will be taking on double duty this weekend at Dover (Del.) International Speedway as he competes in the NBS event on Saturday, followed by the NASCAR Nextel Cup Series (NNCS) event on Sunday. Sunday’s NNCS event will mark the second stop on the wild Chase for the Nextel Cup Championship.

BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB OF DELAWARE: Raines, along with team owners Kevin and DeLana Harvick, will visit the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Newark (Del.) Thursday afternoon. During the visit, Raines and Harvick will bring along a helmet, firesuit and gloves to participate in a “show and tell” with the children. The “show and tell” will be followed by a Q&A and an autograph session. In addition to meeting many young fans, Raines and Harvick will present the organization with a $7,500 check from the winning bid on the Ultimate Fan Experience package provided by RoadLoans.com.
